Your slides or negatives are scanned at 1350 dpi in RGB format (CMYK also available as an alternative at no extra cost), 35mm film produces a raw scan size of 1290 x 1940, the equivalent of a 2.5 MegaPixel image from a digital camera. After enhancing and cropping, the end image is slightly smaller. This resolution will provide excellent on-screen results and high quality printing to about 8" x 6" / A5.

Medium format film produces images from 3025 x 2260 from a half fram 6 x 4.5 cm negative to 3025 x 4450 from full frame 6 x 9 cm.
