Your slides or negatives are scanned at 4000 dpi in RGB format (CMYK also available as an alternative at no extra cost). 35mm scans produce a raw scan size of 5780 x 3940, the equivalent of 22.8 MegaPixels. After enhancing and cropping, the end image is slightly smaller. This resolution will provide high quality printing and print draft quality to at least A3.

Medium format scan sizes range from 8960 x 6690 for a 6 x 4.5 cm negative through to 8960 x 13175 for a full frame 6 x 9 cm image.
