In addition to all process steps from the BasicPlus Service, wth this option we will attempt to restore or correct the colour of your slide or negative using a combination of methods. In most cases there is sufficient colour information available to produce good restoration. However we cannot put back what was never there - for example an image that is badly out of focus will still be out of focus, or a badly under-exposed image will still lack the detail that was always missing.

We can only restore colours to our own impression of how the original might have looked. We cannot know how blue the sky was, or how suntanned you were, or just what shade of colour was there originally. There is a huge amount of potential variability in the process, so therefore we also now include on your CD / DVD the raw scans from the scanner prior to enhancement, so you can work on the original images yourself too.
